Studios Unis and I would like to invite you and your students for the 28th Annual Quebec Open International Karate Championship. The tournament will be held on April 25 & 26 2008, at the Peps de l'Université Laval, Quebec, Canada.

This tournament, which is rated respectively KRANE "AAAAA", WKA "AAAAA", NASKA "AAAA" and NMAC "AAA" is now considered as one of the most important in the world. The international reconnaissance of the tournament encourages the best athletes in the world to participate every year. The 28th edition expects more than 2000 competitors from more than 20 different countries. More than $15 000 CDN in cash and $50 000 CDN in prizes are offered within the 360 different categories (8 places/category).

Over the last 27 years, the 300 volunteers of the Quebec Open Organization team have developed great experience in the management of the event. This experience allows us, among others, to respect the quick effiency of the tournament’s schedule. From these 300 volunteers, 150 referees are divided up in 34 different rings in which the action of the 360 categories is taking place simultaneously. This impressive number of rings allows dynamism for a rapid and well-organized tournament.

Again this year, the tournament will close with the Super Saturday Night Show in which many Grand Champs will be presented. This great evening is seen as one of the finest and spectacular attraction of the Quebec Open. Year after year, the participants pushes the limit of the martial arts, with new moves and feats. Last year, more than 6000 spectators have witnessed these incredible performances.

The spectators will also have the chance to assist to many demonstrations from the best athletes around the world.
Many prestigious teams from USA, Canada, Europe, Asia, Central and South America have already confirmed their participation.
